Here are some photos I took at last weeks Tory Burch fashion presentation. The girls all looked lovely in their 70's inspired looks. Some of my favorite things from the show were the high waisted skirts and the bright pops of orange. Overall the styles were really pretty, flirty and feminine. Lots of pieces on my shopping list for Spring!

Opening Ceremony and Pendelton

For Fashions Night Out last night I attended the Opening Ceremony's French flea market at the Ace Hotel. The real stand out of the evening for me was the Opening Ceremony Pendelton collaboration collection. Opening Ceremony brilliantly transformed the signature patterns and prints of Pendelton into high fashion pieces.

Eloise Corr Danch Paper Dress On View at Kate's Paperie

Eloise Corr Danch's Ruffian Paper Doll dress is a historical costume paper sculpture. It was previously on display at the Museum of Arts and Design paper exhibition SLASH! Paper Under the Knife. The Victorian dress features papier mache pages from a book and an intricate internal wire bustle. I am a huge fan of Eloise Corr Danch's work - remember those paper flower pictures I posted from the Macy's flower show last year. Visit Eloise's website to see more of her work. The Paper Doll dress is now on display at Kate's Paperie 8 West 13th St (between 5th/6th) New York.

Alice + Olivia New Online Shop

One of my favorite New York based designers Alice + Olivia just opened a new online e-commerce shop. So now you don't have to push your way through Time Square to get to their brick and mortar location at Bryant Park. Browse their most recent collection online. I am especially coveting the sparkly cardigans and matching mini-skirts.

Fashion Week Favorites - Pants

One of my favorite inspirations from New York's Spring Fashion Week is the introduction of some great new pant silhouettes. While boyfriend and military looks have dominated the last few seasons, these spring pants are much more feminine. I like how they are tapered at the bottom but drape nicely and are more flowy at at the top. Shown: Alice + Olivia and Charlotte Ronson.

Jemma Kidd Fashion Week Make Up Tips - Steal That Look

Jemma Kidd Make Up School gives you tips to replicate looks from the latest beauty trends at last weeks New York Fashon week. Jason Wu gave a nod to the forties and the models makeup stayed neutral on the face and eyes with a bold, dark, almost goth-inspired lip. To replicate the look smudge on Jemma Kidd Make Up School’s Ultimate Lipstick Duo, first applying the balm to the lips to ensure an even application and then topping off with a deep shade like Cleopatra ($19).

Celeb-favorite Rag & Bone favored menswear-inspired looks and makeup remained minimalist and perfectly sculpted with a nude lip. To replicate the look - Prep the face with foundation to get the flawless look, the Mineral Skin Nourishing Tint SPF 20 ($42) from Jemma Kidd Make Up School. Top with the Bio Mineral Perfecting Powder ($40), and to achieve the nude lip swipe Jemma Kidd Make Up School’s Ultimate Lipstick Duo in Peggy ($19).
