She briefly got involved in the drama and then quickly (and wisely) backed out of it to get back to work. We just love her for finding that balance between being a fun character while still being a hard worker and doing interesting things. We want to buy her a pony.
She sort of did the same thing Mondo did this week. She made her point of view a little more prominent than the (admittedly, beige and bland) New Balance activewear point of view.
Result: more sweat/cocktail dresses.
It's got style and it's totally April, but it's such a weird blend that you can't really imagine when and where someone would wear it.
And while we applaud (as do any former, current or future lovers of April), her idea that the "active" in active wear means "sex," we're REALLY not sure where this is supposed to be worn.
We're envisioning a new exercise fad: Lingerobics.
Sexy moves for sexy girls who are trying to lose the last of that baby weight.
And then there's the sweat-gown, for those red carpet yoga classes.
It's actually a cool look, even though the occasion doesn't yet exist where such a look would be worn.
As the above picture illustrates quite handily, April was essentially designing for herself and the result was a little mini-army of Aprils on the runway. The looks had a chicness and interest to them, but they were perhaps a but too much of April's vision to be part of the New Balance line.
